African Elephants
African elephants are beautiful animals that are being killed for their tusks which are made of ivory. Ivory is something valuable, something people want… we certainly don’t need it. That does not sound very fair to me, it is inhumane, cruel, and not to mention stupid! These elephants are very gentle and care for each other. African elephants are the largest terrestrial mammals. Lets hope it stays that way! There are about 400,000 – 660,000 individuals in the world. They are what you call ‘vulnerable’… I say we save the elephants! Don’t support the ivory trade!!!!

My Report on the moose and bighorn sheep....

The states of Colorado and Utah are attempting to control their populations of moose and big horn sheep. In Utah there are too many moose and not enough big horn sheep. They have people called moose muggers that drop nets out of helicopters and capture the moose. Then they tie up their legs. They put the moose in a bag and suspend it from a helicopter. The helicopter flies to Colorado and puts them in the forest there. The big horn sheep from Colorado are then moved to Utah. They are doing this to avoid over-population.

Binky Series!

I am working on some adventure stories and Binky the painted turtle is the main character. So far I have 10 books completed. Binky mostly uses magic rather than his sword. In the tenth book, Dink, Binky's trusty sidekick, saves Binky from shadow Binky by using his toy shovel. If you want to know how you will have to read the book. Binky's best friend is Nermal the cat. She uses a wicked claw attack in her battles to help Binky. There are more Binky books to come...

Golf Camp

This is a photo of me at golf camp with Jack and another boy named Andrew. We were getting to play on the course this day. I hit one of the longest balls and Jack got style points for hitting it really high. Golf camp was pretty good but really hot!

A Devastating Event

This poor kitten was forced to take a bath. This is a devastating event. Cats do not like water. Lets ask the kitten what she thinks! " Abby: "I hate baths!" Oh says the reporter... now we know how she feels about it. ^_^

Da Butters have MORPHED!

This morning Rex, Motorhead and Shorty left their chrysallis and emerged as butterflies. They hung out on the side for awhile and then opened their wings. I am still waiting for Freddy and Old Man Jenkins to morph. They have the coolest curly tongues! When they drink they look like they are blowing horns at a party. They are Da Butters and they will rock your world! ps: They are kind of scary.

These little guys arrived by mail yesterday. They are painted lady butterfly larva. Their names are: Fred, Shorty, Old Man Jenkins, Rex and Motor Head. They are Da' Butters and they will rock your world.

My New Guitar!

I got a new guitar. My old one was good but this one fits me better. Also that one was acoustic so it wasn't loud. I like loud. That is the reason electric guitars ROCK!

Ultra Binky

Binky is my pet turtle. He is a painted turtle. I made a lake habitat for him in my schoolroom. He has little fish friends that live with him. He used to have ghost shrimp but he ate them. A cruel lesson on the food chain.
He is not at the top of the food chain though. Cats are higher in the food chain...

Luckly Binky can go under water and cats dont like water.
